AccuBook is currently looking for Sales Partners to represent our company around the world.

Our Sales Partnership Agreement is based on the principle that simply supplying a website and booking engine to a hotel will increase their revenue marginally. However, providing the necessary support to the hotel is likely to generate a significant increase (typically four times the revenue than without the necessary support).In summary, it is the support that matters when trying to increase online bookings!

In essence the Partner becomes the prime contact with the hotel, the hotel will not have any direct contact with AccuBook Ireland.  The Partner is responsible for Sales and Support of the AccuBook Products.

What does AccuBook provide its Partners?

Tools;
  • Hotel Booking Engine.
  • Hotel Websites.
  • Channel Manager and Rate Comparator.
  • Day Manager for Online Marketing

Note - The software is designed so that an Administrator (NOT a technician) can set up a hotel website and Booking Engine and Channel Manager without any Technical Skills or support from AccuBook head office.

Sales and Marketing
  • Leads from new customers/hotels in their region.
  • Marketing material ie Posts Cards and Brochures.
  • A Website Portal to display their own acquired hotels.

What is unique about our software?

  • AccuBook offers ALL the tools and support a hotel will require to sell rooms online, as opposed to having to go to 3/4 different suppliers.
  • The tools are designed with simplicity in mind so are ideal for independent hotels or small chains.
  • The Day Manager encourages hotels to undertake online marketing and offers tools to do it with.

Who are ideal Partners?
Anyone with a passion for customer support can be a Partner, but in our experience there are 2 ideal candidates;

  • Well established Travel Agents, mainly because they already have the contacts with the hotels and they see business moving from themselves to Online..
  • Experienced Revenue Managers, mainly because they appreciate the benefit of the tools, know how to use them and are looking for an opportunity to develop their own business.

What does a Partner earn?
A Partner receives a 50% commission from all the following revenue streams;
  • A share of the Commission from all Online Bookings
  • A share of the Website Creation fee
  • A share of the Channel Manager fee
  • A share of the Rate Shopper fee.

Clearly our Partners earn more as they increase the online revenue of the hotel. More chargeable products are continuously being developed.

What sort of support does a Partner have to offer Hotels?

For an Partner to earn money, a hotel must use the features built in to the software to sell rooms online. Depending on the level of 'take-up' or 'buy-in' from the hotel, this may mean a Partner training and encouraging the hotel to use the tools, or may involve actually using the tools themselves to increase the business.

Selling the software to a hotel, and then not working with them to sell rooms online IS NOT AN OPTION.

But below is a list of the sort of activities an Partner might be undertaking to support a hotel.

  • Assisting/Encouraging hotels to create and maintain Special Offers and Packages.
  • Assisting/Encouraging hotels to sign up with Online Travel Agents.
  • Setting up hotels on the Channel Manager.
  • Adding and editing content on the website once the basic design is completed.
  • Building links and optimising Metatags to generate more traffic to the website.
  • Creating and distributing E Zines.
  • Creating and distributing SMS Messages.
  • Maintaining Google Adword Campaigns.
  • Updating social media sites including FaceBook/Twitter and FlickR
  • Any activity that may increase online revenue

None of the above requires programming skills, but they do need good IT skills and a knowledge of the hotel industry.

What can go wrong?
  • Partners underestimate the work and effort needed to support a hotel.
  • Partners have no knowledge of Revenue Management and so do not understand how to set up the Channel Manager.
  • Partners do not have the necessary IT skills.
  • Partners do not have the communication skills to persuade hotel management to undertake the online marketing necessary to sell rooms online..

Are there Performance Targets involved?
Yes indeed, our Sales Partnership Agreements are individually negotiated and contain Sales Targets (ie acquire 50 hotels in 12 months), and Performance Targets (ie Distribute 1 E Zine Per Hotel/Per Month etc).
